Celestial Visitations

In the Beginning, there were the Creators, who had existed for an infinite length of time. They created the entire Universe, and vanished. Their most potent creations were the gods and the crystals. The gods were sentient beings who usually chose to take hominoid form. The most powerful god was Primus. The crystals contained pure life force, and were the most powerful objects in the Universe. The most powerful crystal was the Nirvana Crystal. The second most powerful crystal was the Kaibr Crystal. When the gods inherited the universe, it was in chaos. The gods gave it form. They created galaxies, nebula, star clusters, star systems, and planets. Most of the gods chose to live in Irkalla, a pocket universe connected to this one by an extradimensional gate, guarded by the three Guardians. The gods felt that there should be sentient beings patrolling the Universe, and to be the god's liaisons to the physical world. Therefore the gods created angels. Specific angels watch over specific aspects of the Universe. There is Gabriel, the star angel, Iris, the comet angel, and Charon, the planet angel. Eventually, the gods felt that the Universe was going unappreciated since it was unpopulated. The gods created humans to populate the Universe. They put them on worlds where they would be able to survive. The gods also created the pyramids, which unlike the crystals, contained only divine as opposed to primordial energy. The pyramids can be used for communication. Any angel could use a pyramid to communicate with any angel or any god, whether or not they had a pyramid. Any human could use a pyramid to communicate with any angel, whether or not they had a pyramid. Any human or angel could use a pyramid to communicate with any human who had a pyramid. Any god could communicate with any angel or human, even if neither had a pyramid. In all of these examples, communication could take place between individuals on opposite sides of the Universe. The gods also created a planet of unbelievable paradise called Elesia.

Not all of the gods lived in Irkalla. There was one god who did not. It was Phoebus, the sun god. The reason he was in this Universe was so he could invest young stars with divine energy. By investing young stars with divine energy, the gods would continue to control the Universe. To try to convey the physical dimensions of gods and angels, from their point of view, a star is about the size of a basketball. Phoebus kept young stars on a planet that was proportional to his own dimensions, called Titania. He kept a nursery, not only of young stars, but of moons also. He didn't actually walk among them every day. The elves were allotted the task of meeting the daily needs of the stars. Phoebus had a celestial barge which he could use to transport anything anywhere. In Irkalla is the Sphinx, which is all knowing and knows all things. The Sphinx knew all of the stories about the gods, including this one: The god of the wind was Zephyr. He fell in love with a phoenix. He told the phoenix that he could turn her into a goddess, and take her for his wife, but that she would have to live in Irkalla, and could never return to this Universe. She agreed. He transformed her into a beautiful goddess named Lemuria. Afterwards, she regretted her decision and wistfully dreamed of when she was a phoenix. Because of this story, the phoenix was viewed as associated with the gods. Gabriel's best friend was a celestial phoenix who helped him in his duties.

One day Gabriel went to the pyramid in the Danuban system to contact Phoebus. However, when he linked telepathically with the pyramid, his mind was flooded with intense power. He looked up and saw three objects up in the sky, coming towards him. He was stricken with horror. They were unlike anything anyone had ever seen. They looked like UFO's. He could sense that they contained great power. He got the impression that they were not from this Universe. Meanwhile, light-years away on Titania, young stars left the nursery. The stars flew through the canyon of spirits, and nobody knew where they went. The elves went to hunt for them. The disappearance of the young stars posed a great threat to the Universe. Gabriel was the child of Aster, god of stars, and Selena, goddess of moons. Gabriel didn't know what these things in the sky were, but knew that they were potentially dangerous. Gabriel contacted Phoebus and told him what had happened. Phoebus told him that first the suns and then the moons were missing, and that nobody knew where they were. Phoebus theorized that the flying saucers or "visitors" might somehow be shielding the suns and the moons from his sight, since his divine abilities didn't enable him to locate them. Phoebus ordered Gabriel to go to the Celestial Temple where the Kaibr Crystal was kept, and to use it to locate the suns and moons. At that moment, Gabriel was contacted by a human named Merlin, who had a pyramid, and was on a distant planet. Gabriel traveled to him so they could speak face to face. Gabriel told him everything that had happened. Gabriel then took him to Titania. He told him that when they get the suns back, they are going to use them to cast a clairvoyance spell, to watch distant events. He ordered Merlin to prepare for it. Phoebus increased Merlin's size so that he would be in proportion with objects on Titania.

Then Gabriel traveled to the Celestial Temple in the Arcon system. He entered the Temple. He was met by Zirconia, keeper of the Kaibr Crystal. He prepared himself and touched the Crystal. He instantly had a powerful vision. He saw a unicorn-pegasus. It spoke to him. It said that there can not be light without dark. Everything light has a dark self. The unicorn-pegasus' dark self, his flip side, was the unicorn-dragon. You can't reach light without getting past the darkness. The unicorn-pegasus then showed him where the suns were. They were hiding in the Valley of the Suns, on Titania. Zirconia told Gabriel that they were going to need the elves, but the elves will not return as long as the suns are missing. Therefore one reason to get the suns back is so the elves will return. Gabriel traveled to Titania and through the thick wilderness. He finally reached the Valley of the Suns. He picked up the suns and carried them back to the nursery one by one. Then he called Phoenix, and together they went to Phoebus' palace. Phoebus said that he had made contact with Gaia, goddess of fertility, in Irkalla. He said that she had somehow received a telepathic message from the Visitors, ordering her to go to the Celestial Citadel. He said she was on her way there now and believed that she would meet them there. They were all worried as to what this meant. Phoebus didn't trust any of this. He decided that he would secretly send the Phoenix to the Citadel also, without her knowledge, to report on what happens. The phoenix sent off on the journey.

On the outer rim of the galaxy, Iris was in her palace, watching a solar eclipse. She suddenly became aware of a presence. She looked out the window and saw the Visitors. They left as soon as she saw them. This was the second time an angel was visited by the Visitors. She left for Titania to tell Phoebus. Meanwhile, Gabriel told Phoebus that Zirconia said that they might need the elves to return. Phoebus said that the elves wouldn't return until they get the moons back also. He said that he knew where they were. Gabriel went and retrieved the moons. Iris zoomed through space, and finally reached Titania. She told the others how she had seen the Visitors. Meanwhile, at the Celestial Citadel, Gaia awaited their arrival. The Phoenix was on the other side of the planet where they wouldn't see him. Finally, Gaia could feel their presence. She went outside and saw them. She was overawed by their power. The power that they embodied was far greater than that which she could have imagined possible. They filled her with an awareness of the Universe. For once, she comprehended all of Creation. It was rebirth. Then the Visitors ordered her to send them all information concerning all civilization. She agreed instantly. They gave her the coordinates at which to beam the information. Then they left. The Phoenix intercepted the last part of this communication, although he didn't get the coordinates. He returned to Titania, and informed Phoebus.

Phoebus was furious. "They want all information concerning us? Do they wish to attack us? Their actions indicate malevolence. Why did Gaia agree? Is she a traitor?" Phoebus ordered Gabriel to find out the coordinates, and for the Phoenix to travel there and find out what was there. They guessed that Gaia would use the observatory, reversing the polarity so it would be a projector. The observatory was manned by humans. Gabriel used Phoebus' pyramid to contact the observatory, which had a pyramid also. They confirmed that Gaia had ordered them to send all data in the Universe to a specific point in the sky. Gabriel persuaded the humans to tell him what the coordinates were. The Phoenix set out towards them. Finally, the Phoenix reached a desolate ice planet. These were the coordinates but there was nothing there. Gabriel wanted to know what the Phoenix was seeing. He ordered Merlin to start arranging the suns so they could perform the clairvoyance spell. Meanwhile the Phoenix searched the planet, and found an ice cave. He went inside, and saw it. It was one of the Visitors. It was receiving the information beamed to it. The Phoenix returned to Titania and told Phoebus. Phoebus ran out of patience. He said that enough was enough and he was going to find out what the hell these Visitors were once and for all. They knew there was one Visitor on the ice planet, and that it would be there as long as data was being transmitted. He could go there and follow it when it left. He reconfigured his celestial barge for a deep space voyage. He traveled to the ice planet. He reached it just as the Visitor was leaving. He then followed it at a safe distance. He followed it for a staggering distance, as it left the galaxy, traveled through intergalactic space, and approached another galaxy.

While he was on route, Gaia contacted him. She had noticed his ship and pleaded for him to turn around. She told him that he didn't know what he was doing. He asked her to inform him but she refused to elaborate. Phoebus had told Gabriel to ignore Gaia. Gaia sent a message to the angel Charon who relayed it to Gabriel. She said that the only way to save Phoebus would be for Gabriel to gain some understanding and pass it onto Phoebus via pyramid. Phoebus could then prepare himself for what he'll see. Gabriel could witness Gaia's encounter with the Visitors, and thus gain awareness, if he had access to the Nirvana Crystal. That was her message. Gabriel had no idea where the Nirvana Crystal was. However, just then, the elves finally returned. Gabriel asked them where the Nirvana Crystal was. They said that it was here on Titania. It was in the possession of Poseidon at the bottom of the ocean. He would only let you have access to it, if you gave him the Kaibr Crystal. Gabriel returned to the Celestial Temple. Zirconia was outraged at Gabrielle's suggestion that the Crystal leave the Temple. Gabriel explained the urgency of the situation. She finally relented. Gabriel returned to Titania with the Crystal. He suggested that since Poseidon knew the elves, that one of them present him with the Crystal. They chose Phooka. Phooka traveled to the bottom of the ocean in an air bubble, and told Poseidon that he would give him the Kaibr Crystal if he allowed Gabriel access to the Nirvana Crystal. Poseidon reluctantly agreed. Gabriel traveled to the bottom of the ocean and entered Poseidon's cave. He followed Poseidon's directions through the labyrinth of tunnels until he reached the chamber where the Nirvana Crystal was held.

The Nirvana Crystal was guarded by the unicorn-dragon, the unicorn-pegasus' dark other half. This is what the unicorn-pegasus had tried to warn him about. There ensued a great battle between light and dark. Gabriel felt the light draining out of him. Gabriel wacked the dragon's horn with his staff. There was an explosion resulting from a direct contact between positive and negative energy. Both the unicorn-dragon and Gabriel were rendered unconscious. Gabriel awoke first, and thrust his staff into the beast's heart. He considered it self-defense. Then he reached up and touched the Nirvana Crystal. The instant he touched it, he lost awareness of his body. He wasn't on Titania or at any specific location in the Universe. He achieved oneness with the Cosmos. He witnessed Gaia's encounter with the Visitors. It's not like he was watching it. It's like he was there. He watched Gaia in the Citadel become aware of their presence and rush outside. He watched the Visitors slowly lower from the sky and hover in midair. He watched the Visitors achieve a telepathic link with Gaia, which he was party to. He suddenly viewed the Universe in a different way. He was filled with an awareness of the Universe. For once, he comprehended all of Creation. He was reborn. He awoke in a cold sweat on the cave floor. He rushed out of the chamber, out of the cave, and swam up to the surface.

Gabriel reached the pyramid and contacted Phoebus. He tried to convey to Phoebus what he had learned. There was a very limited extent to which this could be conveyed through a pyramid. Phoebus obtained only a partial understanding. However, Phoebus did come away with a sense that the Visitors were not malevolent, were somehow of this Universe, and were here ostensibly to teach us. Despite this, his curiosity was not dampened. Phoebus' ship followed the Visitor into the other galaxy. Eventually, they reached a group of other Visitors. The others had a different configuration. Phoebus got into a space bubble and left the ship to encounter the Visitors. Meanwhile, Gabriel checked into the healing temple to recover from the wounds he suffered while battling the unicorn-dragon, as well as the shock of opening his eyes to the world for the first time. The Phoenix, Iris, and Merlin were at his side. Gabriel said that something was coming, that they either were or were not prepared for. He said that the Phoenix wouldn't be needed in this world. He told him to go to Elesia. Hopefully, they would all join him soon. The Phoenix left for it. Gabriel said that they needed to witness Phoebus' encounter with the Visitors. He told Merlin to use the suns to set up a clairvoyant window into what Phoebus was experiencing.

Phoebus achieved a link with the Visitors. He asked who they were. They said that they could just tell him but that it would be better for him, a cynic and a skeptic, to find out for himself. They told him that the answer was in Irkalla. Phoebus got in his ship and traveled back to our galaxy. He reached the extradimensional gate guarded by the three Guardians. He stood beneath the focal point and was transported to the pocket universe that is Irkalla. He gathered the crystals you need to be let into the inner sanctuary of the gods. Merlin, with Gabriel's help, succeeded in using the suns to set up a clairvoyant portal to watch Phoebus, even though he was in Irkalla. When Phoebus had enough crystals, they let him into the inner sanctuary. To his astonishment, one of the Visitors was there. He found Lemuria. She had the Kaibr Crystal. She said that she had gotten it from Poseidon, knowing that he, Phoebus, would need it. She gave it to him. She asked who the Visitors were. She said the answer was within him, if he only looked deep enough. She told him to follow Zephyr. He watched Zephyr enter the monolith, and followed him. When he entered, he fell to his knees. Inside was Primus, King of the Gods. He asked, "Oh Majestic One, whom all gods call great, as the most powerful being in the Universe, will you condescend to tell me, the Sun God, who are these Visitors among us?" He replied only, "They are not visitors, and I am not the most powerful being in the Universe." He then beckoned him into the exact center of Irkalla, where normally only Primus is allowed.

He entered the exact center and saw a garden with some sort of gateway. If Gabriel hadn't related to him partial awareness, and if he hadn't had the Kaibr Crystal, he would have been destroyed by just being in such a powerful place. On top of the gateway was the Sphinx himself. The Sphinx is all knowing and knows all things. The only reason Primus knows all things is because he has access to the Sphinx. The Sphinx knows not only all things known to the gods, or all things within the Universe, but all things. Phoebus went to the Sphinx and asked, "Who are the Visitors?" The Sphinx replied, "Not only have I always known, but so has everyone else, except they think with their minds instead of their hearts. Open your eyes and the truth will be obvious to you. Pass through the gateway and thou shalt see." Phoebus leapt through the gateway. The world he entered wasn't Irkalla, the Universe, or anywhere. He entered his own soul. He saw a woman. He asked, "Who are you?" She said, "The greatness of the Cosmos is your own greatness. If you look for whom to thank, look no farther than yourself. We are all the Visitors. We are all of Creation. We are an extension of the Visitors. We come from them." Then he saw the Visitor he had seen earlier in Irkalla. The saucer opened and light flooded out. The light suddenly took form. The light took the form of a face with a third eye on the forehead.

Suddenly Phoebus understood. He had been so blind. The Visitors were the Creators. They had never left. They had been here all along. They were part of everything, all matter and energy, space itself. We are a part of them. Finally after eons, their children had matured to the point where they might be able to accept the Creators openly among them. They took the form of saucers and obtained all data on the material universe and civilization. They used it to ascertain if we were ready. They reached their decision. Just as the suns were frightened and hid, others will be frightened also. The reason Phoebus couldn't initially locate the suns was because deep down he sympathized with them, since he was frightened also. However, most people would get over this fear, which is only fear of ourselves, since we were made by the Creators, and thus we are an extension of them, and they are in all of us. We were ready to accept them openly among us. The woman took out a trumpet and blew it to herald a new dawn. The Creators had returned to their children.
