You can't walk around it without the risk of it looking at you. Your only hope is to kill it before it sees you. You draw your sword as quietly as possible. You slowly and silently walk towards it. It shouldn't be that hard to kill it. The beast stops walking and continues grazing about five feet from you. You can smell it, and see its tangled purple fur. You slowly walk towards it. You stop about two feet from it. You raise your sword. The sudden move startles the beast, and catches its attention. It suddenly looks up at you. As it raises its head, you see its small beady black eyes. Your joints become stiff. You look at your arm, and your skin becomes leathery, and then hard and crusty. You see your skin whiten. You try to lower your sword but are unable to. All of your joints have locked up. Then you become paralyzed even though you're standing up. You can't feel anything. You notice your arm looks like marble right before you go blind. You deafen simultaneously. You can't feel, see, or hear anything. You feel light-headed. An odd dizziness comes over you. You panic. The last thought to cross your mind is a wish that you had never taken on this quest.
